laundry

I am doning my laundry, do you seperate, wash with cold water, send it all out or what.

Hi Savypat, I will do a dark and a light load and a handwash load usually each week but sometimes I will do a mixxed load if not a whole machine full. Huggles. Ellie :D

I always separate the colors from the whites because with the whites you have to use javex and i wouldn't want to start just grabbing clothes to put a load in and then find out that i had put a colored item in and ruined it.Better safe than sorry.I use cold water for all my washes. happy mylotting

Considering my washer was the cheapiest on the market at the time it only has one setting so there really is no need to seperate anything now. Theonly thing I will do seperate is socks because i like to bleach them.

I separate my darks and whites. I wash anything delicate or that might shrink in cold water.

I have taken to using cold water to save energy and it is working out OK. Of course I haven't tried the cold water and a Green detergent. That might not work. Thanks for your response

Well, when I was young I used to put the clothes all together to save money and now that I am older I seperate my clothes since it make your clothes look better and you don't wind up with a pink shirt that was white.

Thanks for your response. Yes my husband doesn't like his whites pink at all. Though there were times when we were really poor and he had to wear his undies like that.
