Do you get any referrals by posting links on you mylot profile?

I was just curious because every second mylot member has some kind of ref link/banner on his profile, no matter whether it's a ptc,ptp or whatever. I have tried doing this on forums, blogs and other sites but so far, the very few refs i got only clicked for one or several days and then stopped. Does it ever worth this effort- i mean publishing your links everywhere. As for mylot, have you got any referral from your profiles. Are they active?
