Would you agree with my wife?

I asked my wife why married women were heavier than single women. She said, single women come home, see what's in the fridge and go to bed. Married women come home, see what's in bed and go to the fridge.

Hi, don't worry yourself about it, there are a lot of men who don't like thin women, including me. And stop reading those silly magzines. :)

No, she hasn't mentioned why married men are thinner than single men, and she probably won't because she keeps me well fed but not carrying any extra weight. If she spots any she says, "Let's slip into the bedroom and work off that extra fat!" I usually hesitate and then give in... LOL

LOL that's pretty funny I think the reason married women just get comfortable with their mate and start to eat more, just like men get fat when they get married or have a steady girlfriend and as soon as they break up they lose wieght and start looking at their appearence.

When you get older you become more health conscious and exercise more, or we do anyway. But I told my wife if she got skinny, I'd leave. There's a difference between thin and fat. And women were meant to have curves, like them or not.

Thats all very well, but I think a married woman should go directly to the kitchen, as soon as she comes home from work. "When you see what some girls marry, you realize how they must hate to work for a living." ~ Helen Rowland.

I don't mind a wife going to the fridge as long as she makes something for me while she's there.

oh myg jackgym wow I am still laughing. could be but no my hubby was very romantic so that wasnt it, its cooking for a man who prefers the most calorific of foods, like roast beef and lots of potatoes, so we start eating that way and we dont burn it up while hubby has a metabolism that blows away all that and c an come back for more. You serve him a lot of veggies, he yells youre trying to starve me. oh my. help.

You're in a bit of a pickle there, aren't you? Your hubby is like me and loves baked dinners. Why not feed him the roast beef and potatoes and you have the veggies :)

Ain't that the truth! Hubby is a meat and potatoes kind of guy. Put a loaf of bread and a gallon of milk with those meat and potatoes every day, and well, there's part of the answer. I've TRIED to get mine to eat the things I would prefer to eat, but he'd rather eat a bowl of cereal, which usually turns out to be the whole box of cereal, rather than something good for him.

Well maybe she has a point there. But based on what I have observed, as we grow older, our weight increases that's why we became fatter. But most of the time, it really depends on the genes. There are really people who have faster metabolism that's why even if they eat too much, they still remain slim.

well if she has kids then she might gain a bit of weight hence the looking in what's in the bed and go to the fridge. and since they can have whats in bed every night i believe they're tired of it. and then again unmarried women don't regain the weight from pregnancies and don't have stress from taking care of children and such. but i wish you good luck on getting that special 'spark' back with your wife. ;)

Married woman have already baby. And when a woman is still pregnant she eats a lot making her gain more weight and making her bigger. After she give birth, all the excess fats stays in her body. And she is used in eating foods. After she gave birth it will not easy for her to burn fats and do heavy exercise. It would cost her 1 month before she can do heavy loads. Mother gets also tired of taking care of their baby. And what she will do rest on the bed and after she have rested she will go to the frig and check if there is something to eat. Heheh. I just want my response long. My only answer to your question is, YES! That's all! Good Day!

True true !!! But for my case, I see the bed and then go open the fridge and then go to bed. That's because there's nothing to eat in the fridge unless I gotta take out the pots and pans and start cooking. So being already tired I rather go to the bed. There's no ready to eat food in my fridge - no chocs, no sweets....one way to not be heavier than single women !!
