what can we gain in our life through this movie...this story was touching to me.... this one is a real story...I think there r lots of things that we can study from this movie like suffering, sacrifice,hardwork, miseries in life,bussiness mind, and lot.. what do u thing.......

yes,i've seen this movie.honestly,i dozed off in the middle of the movie (lol) as it was very long.especially on the part where will smith tries to find someone whom he can sell his x-ray machine.it's a great story of father and son.and also the value of determination and never losing hope.all in all,it's a great movie and heartwarming one.happy mylotting!

I loved this movie! It was soh inspiring! I also think the son of Will Smith and Will Smith himself did a great job portraying the characters in the story. Yup I do believe this is a true story. It's amazing! I have to wonder though as to what happened to the son after he grew up. Did he grow up to be a disciplined man given that they got so rich already?
