Has a friend ever lied to you about something really important and you knew she was telling a lie? If a friend lied to you, would you confront her about it right away, or would you wait until the lie blew up in her face?

Yes I have had friends lie to my face, one friend inparticular I can think of told the most worst lies, I knew she was lying of course but I just could not prove it. I had to pretend to be dumb and carry on being friends with her as if I did not know any different. Of course eventually it all caught up with her because I found my proof, there is no point confronting someone until there is proof positive that they are lying because they just deny everything!

Don't I know it! I think lies always catch up with people though. There are certain things that friends keep private about themselves and their families. And that's to be expected. You can't just go blabbing your family's business all over without repercussions. But an out right lie that they know will hurt a friend, is unacceptable. In those cases, I wish the friend would just keep their mouth closed, instead of making things up. That's a more prudent course of action.

I am very very blessed to have the friends that I do. I have never had an experience like that in my life, but I know of a few friends who have. I am glad that we can all talk to eachother, and be completely honest. No friend has ever lied to my face like that, not only because they are not the type, and also because they know I'd kick their @$$es if they tried.

one of my most favored forms of entertainment these days, is giving someone who is being deceptive enough rope to hang themselves with and watching them slowly strangle. yes.. ive had "friends" lie to me or keep thngs from me that they really shouldnt.. they arent friends anymore.

maybe they have treat me ,but i did't know...hehe ok,if i occur this situation,i must find the reason that why she or he lie to me first.if they are star from kindness,i may pretend that i don't know what they do.but one the opposite ,i 'll say the truth out directly, and realise that they are not friendly,i should keep away from them to protect myself.

Oh, it's happened to me once. But I guess I understand now why she wanted to lie. I have forgiven her, so everything is okay with us now. :)

Yes, I have had a friend lie straight to my face and I knew they were lying. Depending on who it is and what they are saying is if I will speak up or just allow it to roll off my shoulders. It the lying harms someone else in any way I will speak up about it. If it doesn't bopther anyone, I let it go.
