my mom cooks banana pancakes. No need for oven. It's just like cooking pancakes, only thicker. Use a deep frying pan (about 1 inch thick or more). Fill it with the pancake mixture (mixed with the mashed banana), and cover it tight. Use low fire. This will cook nicely, and the outcome is like a banana cake.

You're welcome! My mom cooks pancake from scratch, she doesnt use the instant ones. Hehehehe. Quite easy. Just mix flour, eggs, butter, baking powder, milk, and banana. Im not quite sure about the measurement though. Heehee!

Really! never heard of instant banana pancakes. I usually buy those instant pancakes but with no flavor at all. Thanks for sharing that I will look in the supermarket for that one so that my daughter can try that. She loves banana. Thanks again.

I do pancakes also from scratch but I don't use flour because it is too hard to eat. The dough is not soft. Instead of flour I use cake flour. I'll try to add banana on my pancakes. Thanks again.

I love brownies also but I just buy on the bakery for I don't have oven at home. That is why I just make refrigerated desserts. Have you tried salads?

Agar-Agar is a gelatinous substance derived from seaweed. It used as gelling agent. it looks like crispy spongy plastic fibres or strips. If it is not available, you can use some other gelling agents, but we didn't try other gelling agents yet. If you don't use it pudding will remain as a solution, you can't cut it as pieces. See pictures of Agar-Agar Strips: http://www.regencyworld.com/images/agar2g.jpg http://www.wingyipstore.co.uk/pictures/content1310/agar+agar.jpg http://www.21food.com/userImages/wfagar/wfagar$41792540.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y110/nicht/agar_agar.jpg http://www.flour-ysh.com/products/images/083D.PNG Spray some water and heat it in a pot, it will melt. You can avoid adding egg for health reasons or for different taste, if you add egg add only one egg.

Hi desiree! I don't know how to bake because we don't have oven here in the apartment! I wish I can give you some good recipe but I don't have to be honest, I just buy when I'm craving for sweets or desserts. I hope that you will get a lot of recipe from the other responses. Have a nice day.

Though we have oven, I don't know how to bake. LOLS!!! But my sister and I likes to prepare desserts specially when there is an occassion. We are fond of making salads, refrigerated cakes and sometimes we look at the back of the box to try something new. Sorry I cant share anything for you. Try to look at the back of box or any tetra pack or search online. My mom usually search and be a member of that certain bake/cooking society and she was given a weekly recipe.

I cannot prepare dessert at home. I prefer buying them from the sweet shops, because it is difficult to deal with milk product. In fact in my region most of the dessert are milk products. Happy Mylotting.

why is it difficult for you to deal with milk? do you live in china? If yes, I think its better not buy even in sweet shop because you don't know what kind of milk product they add to their desserts. Better not eat those desserts than harm your health.
