Banned words

I was trying to enter a response to a discussion on favourite pets and in saying that my favourite pet was a cat, I described the cat as being a "Pxssy" cat. Mylot intercepted this and described the P-word as a banned word! How bizarre! What other strange words have you discovered being blocked by Mylot and what do you think of their choices?

Well I found out recently that I couldn't say the word "P$ssy" but with a "i" where the money symbol is..LOL. When I went to view my post threw the "preview" option it wouldn't let me continue because mylot considers this word a naughty & banned word..LOL...And that was the first and last time mylot stop to edit my comment.

Thanks for your comment. How bizarre that Mylot should choose to ban that word. There are some pretty extreme comments in the adult section - what is the point of banning that p-word or indeed the p-word I used?

i think that's okay because they have the right to impose certain rules including those that they believe are not allowed. maybe they are just protecting the views of all. some may get offended by the word we use yet for us, it means nothing. well, just charge it to experience. keep posting! :)

Yes of course. I am just amused by the reaction of the Mylot system and wondered what other people's experience was - and also so that I would have some idea in future what words to avoid. I agree that they should do this in principle - I was just curious as to which words they banned. Happy mylotting!
