i have a cat which is different from other cats. he loves my mother and evrerytime she calls him he runs to her like a dog. no matter what he does he will come. he look at her with love and his big eyes and starts licking her face . he doesnt do it to everyone. when other people call him he ignores them. he always follows her to everywere she goes... is it normal for a cat? dont dogs do it?...for me and my sister he bites and scratches. Do your cats act this way towards you too?

Mine is still a kitten and is lazy. I think your cat is very active towards your mum. Does your mum spoil him/her?

no... she doesnt spoil him ,she isnt trying to earn his love .. i have a feeling that he takes us as a group that live together and that he has a list of whos more important.. he listens only to her. i dont understand if its that he thinks shes the biggest boss of the group or if its just love.. cats which i had up till now where very independed.. they come whenever they want and leave whenever they want. no one is the boss for them but thew cat i have now is very different.

Cats can take a liking to one person. That isn't necessarily dog behavior. He may like your mother's smeel or her voice, or something else about her. It's just like with humans, sometimes we like someone for a reason we can't explain. You could ask your cat about it, and maybe he can figure it out. LOL
