I was attracted by one of those spam mails that read something like "you won 100000$" and claim it soon with your account.I did almost all steps finally it said you are not the person selected and it was a person from another country.I fortunately did not give any true identity to them. Please do not believe on mails which say you got money.

I NEVER believe these. I have got multiple e-mails from different companies overseas (in china, england, and kenya so far) who send me an e-mail telling me they need to wire money over to the USA and would like to use my account and they will pay me 50% of their end profits. I am then told to reply with all my info, one time they even asked for my social security number. If they want to wire money they can do it through Western Union ... and if they can't because it could be monitored by the government, then it's probably illegal!

Those scams have been around for so many years now, But unfortuntely people still sadly think its true...There was one stage a while back where I had won millions from all over the world....LOL....All you can do is laugh....Basic rule, if you didnt enter it then its not real...

So Far I am lucky ! I never have been scammed by any one till date ! I think we aour selves are responsible to fall prey to these people. We will have to be careful and let every body not know about your e-mail Id so that you may not get these types of e-mails from them. Even if you have anymail like this simply ignore it and delete it! don't get greedy1 what makes any one to give you money for no reaso? If at all they want to distribute money then they can donate the monety to any charitable institute. Thus I personally think it is the greed which takes one to the toll ! thus don't be greedy and let the mails of sucg types be deleted then and there only! I am very careful in giving my Id and I normally delete and suspeciousletter even before opening it! You really don't know what do you have in those jun e- mails. So be careful in the future and save your self from this types of people. Never ever you quote your account number or pass word to any bank account toany body! You will ending up wit hloosing the money from your accaount at the end !Thanks! Wish you all the best and Happy Mylotting!

That has not happened to me yet! I have a Spam folder, but sometimes stuff still gets through! But, you can usually tell by the Subject Heading what to immediately trash! I know that this happens to everybody with an email address, but it is still irritating! :(

yea, I get a lot of those e-mails, they go straight into the trash folder. Never fall for these emails! They take your money and you never hear from they again. I think dateline or 60 minutes did a story about this exact same situation.
