coming from a bear, this makes a lot of sense. this came about when Pooh lost Rabbit's hammer and Rabbit wanted it back but it was nowhere in sight. it applies in real life, too. sometimes, we borrow other people's property and if we're naturally careless, chances are we'll lost the things that were loaned to us. it happened to me a lot of times. especially, when i was younger. i was irresponsible and immature about taking care of things that aren't mine. sometimes, i would forget to return them when i promised to return them on time. losing a thing is indeed very easy. you just leave it lying about and soon you'll forget about it. you will just remember that it ever existed when you need it most and you won't know where to find it anymore. it gets worse when you can't fish out anything from your mind for a clue where you've last seen it. Pooh's solution to the missing hammer were nails. he planted nails as his bait thinking that the hammer would show up because there were nails lying about. if only it is that easy in real life. what if the one thing we've sloppily lost can save our life?at one point in time, we have to mature and take responsibility for our actions especially when they involve other people. like, when we borrow stuff or promise something, we should learn to respect it and handle it with care as if it was our own. not only will we get the owner's gratitude and appreciation but we'll also keep our dignity and increase the chance of gaining people's trust. we don't want our things to be abused by other people, too, right? next time be more careful and think about Pooh...
