Well I can't on weekdays, have to get up, get the kids to school and me to work. But I catch up on the weekends if I have managed to sleep deprive myself during the week. Ahhhhh, just woke up from one! Do you take naps? (I bet the bear does lol)

I rarely take naps. I find that when I am sick I want to nap.. that is really about the only time I do..

I generally find that by the end of the week I'm a little bit sleep deprived so I need a short nap on the weekend to catch up. And when I'm sick, even more so!

I used to when I was working the day shift, especially in the summer when the days are long, and the weekends. Now that I am on the night shift, I don't take naps I fall into a deep sleep, and sleep a long time

There's part of my problem. If I slept more deeply at night, I wouldn't be so sleep deprived by the weekend, and I wouldn't need naps.

I try to take naps during weekends. Even though I had to skip this early evening's nap due that I promised to take my son to a dog show held in early afternoon. © ronaldinu 2008

I may have nap on occasions, though not very often. If it's exam time and I'm really tired, then maybe I might take a nap for an hour or so. I may also take a nap if I'm sick or something. But otherwise, I'm not much of the nap person.

I'm looking forward to retiring, then I can sleep in and/or take naps, or not, as I please. lol

Yes. I grew up in a Dutch-American community where the Sunday nap was sacred! We had to at least play quietly in our own rooms on Sun. afternoons. We joke that most of our community was probably conceived on a Sunday. Even now,(I have long since moved away) I really enjoy a nap on Sat. or Sun. afternoon. But I have noticed that if I sleep more than about 1 hour, I will wake up feeling just gross! A short nap is best for me

Actually if I take a short nap and I'm interrupted I feel gross. But too long of one isn't good either!

I love taking naps, but I would choose the longer sleeping hours than naps. Hehe!

So would I if I could. Actually I read that it's better to sleep in later rather than try to go to sleep earlier than you're ready to. But unfortunately our jobs seldom give us that choice!

I cannot take some naps too during weekdays as I am in the office. But just like you, weekends is my time to sleep more. I usually wake up late, 10AM is the latest. And after taking our lunch in weekends, the whole family takes a nap for almost 3 or 4 hours. Happy family taking a nap?

My kids don't nap unless they're sick but my husband and I do. So far the kids haven't burned down the house...

yes. i do it everyday around 3 pm. it is a must do activity for me almost daily. i would take about a 30 min nap normally or to an hour if i am really tired. normally i would sleep about 5-6 hours at night and wake up early about 7-8am. i would log in to do some of my stuff and this goes on until lunch. after lunch i would continue. as i spend a lot of my time in front of the computer, my eyes get tired easily so i need the nap as a break and to recuperate from the stress.
