I have seen way to many Children under 10 years old causing violent and unjustified crimes. Yet in Canada and the US we can't touch them our treat them like older criminals. If a child under ten is capable of murder or arrson should the punishment fit the crime? or are we just putting up signs that it is ok to do it for we can't touch you? It alway goes back to are we as parent loosing the ability to disipline are children with the fear that Children Services will swoop in and take them away. When I was a child I knew my parents loved me and I knew that if I ever did anything seriously wrong I would be punished. I call it "putting the fear of God into me". just that alone made it so I respected those around me. Today kids have very little discipline and the understanding of right and wrong. I have heard children threaten their parent with CS if the dont get what they want. Kids are smart and to me I feel society and the government has let them down by letting them have all the control.
