My cousin sent me a pic of her dog... actually, she sent three. I'm assuming this is Buddy's Hallowe'en costume this year. Last year, she dressed him up like a pimp...
I'd like to share this photo with you and ask the question, Do you dress up your critters for special occasions? (The woman across the road from me did last year... not only dressed her dog in a devil costume, but took it around to the neighbors.)

She dresses him up for Christmas, too... puts antlers on his head or a wreath around his neck.

Thanks for being the first to respond. Do you have a critter pal that you like dressing up?

I am in melbourne Australia, we don't celebrate halloween here and I have a cat that would tear me to shreds anyway if i tried to dress her up but years ago i used to put christmas decorations on all the neighbours cats on Chritsmas day...

My Maltse does not like Halloween any more than I do so I hang out in the bedroom with the dog and hubby hands out the candy. Our dog is very upset when someone continually rings the door bell so this works best.

aww---how cute, wonder if your cousin's dog got a complex by having a Bad Dog hat on though. One Halloween, I was doing studio photo shots on a Halloween theme and decided to get one of my kitties, Tippy in the action...she's long gone in Rainbow Bridge but at least I have her photos to remember her by--all it was, was a witches hat I constructed so it would be cat sized

Very nice composition. I like the hat, too. I once made a propellor beanie for my long-gone Alfie... I'd go looking for the pics I took of him but Harmony's keeping my lap warm at the moment...

Hi barbara! He is so adorable! What a cute doggie! He just
looks so sad in that costume! He's precious! What a good
dog to let them dress him up and stand still for the
pictures! He's a very good doggie! Most animals hate to
dress up! I could just see me trying to dress up my
cats. I put a red bow on them for Christmas and I'm lucky
the let me do that! And they have to wear it all day
whether they want to or not! They're pretty good about
it! My last 2 cats sure hated it! But Star & Luna are
pretty good sports. I never tried to dress them up for
Halloween. At least not yet! Star is an all black cat
so I'm all ready afraid for him!

Buddy's a big ham -- loves getting his picture taken. (He also thinks he's a lap dog.)

Our puppy is too young to wear costumes- he'd tear them off!! I have dressed my cat up before. In fact, I still have a picture of her. It's cute. I dressed her as a princess- because that's how she acted. She didn't like the hat too much, but she loved the cape. Next year though, Lucky (the puppy) will be getting dressed up!!
There are some cute dog costumes for the Christmas holiday, so I might be getting him some of that and since this will be his first Christmas, you definitely have to make it special!
