Whenever, I wear mascara, I have to deal with clumps. Maybe I'm just using old mascara. When the tube is brand new, it seems not to clump so much. How do you get rid of clumps when using mascara? How do you deal with eyelashes sticking together when you use mascara?

I have saved an old mascara wand and washed it off. After I apply my mascara, I use the old clean wand to make sure the lashes are separated. I wash the old wand every few days so it is clean. When it is time for a new mascara, I toss the old old wand and wash the newest old wand to start being used as the lash separator and declumper.

Clumping of mascara comes from old mascara or cheap mascara. To make it look better, I am very cheap!, you can use a q-tip while your using it. Or if it drying fast, try using a stick pin to unclump!

Mascara does clump when the tube is older than a few weeks, I have heard that putting a couple of drops of water in can thin it out but I have never tried it. Putting too much on can also make it clump together also.
