How often do you start a discussion?

Im new here and so far I have tried making my own discussions. Some have immediate results and others until now dont have any post. How often do you start a discussion as what is the usual category? Please share here you thoughts.

Wow, it seems to be a sound strategy. Have you ever created a discussion on which no one responded? If yes, what did you feel about it? Have you been discouraged by this?

I had a discussion with only one response and I started this disscussion to know about their payments. But no one replied that they are paying and the one response is looking forward for getting answer like me. In this case, And I am still searching and awiating for a response for that discussion. Most of my discussions ended up with a few responses. I don't feel bad, even I don't get any response as there are several factors may effect.

Hello there!
I rarely start my own discussions. I have a lot of ideas in mind but seem to be caught up in responding to the discussions started by other myLot members. Or, there are times when I really can't think of a topic to work on. When I start my own discussion, it would most likely be under the "me" category or "people" or even "employee". Those are the most common categories I post my discussions under.

I see. It seems that you have been a mylot member earlier than I was. It might imply to me that you have a ready answers to most of the discussions posted by others. That is nice, with more than 3000 posts and mostly response to others discussion, I think you are quick witted.

Well, sometimes I have trouble to find out what to make a discussion about. But other times I have some ideas, and if I am not online I do write it down to take it with me when I am online. Like tody, I woke up and thought about something god to write about, I did put it down on a peace of paper and as son I was online I went to mylot and wrote about it. I just do not write for writing, I like to have something interesting and a god topic to discuss and have a dialog with others. That is the best discussions for me.

NIce strategy, I have been thinking, have you ever screen this lists of discussion on the paper before putting only the best you could possibly post in mylot? And, so far, what is your best discussion(the one that gain the most responses)?

whenever i get bored responsing discussion..i move towardsposting my own discussion...this keeps my interest in mylot for long and i get good responses which again makes me happy n lively here on mylot!!
I think starting discussions refresh you frm just answering the discussions!!

Yeah, I have been through several discussions that I cant relate to or I dont have a ready answer. I start my discussion when this happens.

come on you have got 9 star and posted almost 25o responses and i don't think that you new no more new to MYLOT...................so be more specific with a good discussion and it can yield many responses and finally it can stand for the best discussion..

I may have post more than 200 and earned a star but to tell you the truth, im about 19 days old here in my lot. I dont even know why we are earning stars. As for the discussions, I think that Im trying to figure out what is the reasons why some of the discussions is still have no response. Any way, you're view is kinda helpful.
