why rating on my star keep on fluctuating??

friend,tell me why this is happen??why rating on my star keeps on fluctuate or changing everyday or after two day??sometime the rating on go to highest rate that is 10 and that may decrease to 8 sometimes.but it will constant on 9 for some days.this is present rating also.friend,tell me how can i make my rating stable or keeps increasing not decreased??

We cannot hold unto this rating here in Mylot for it would always depend on how our Co-Mylotter rate us and so with the MyLot itself so just keep on posting a quality discussion and even for your response and by due time it will increase more than you expected....

I guess you have to consistently participate actively in the discussions also I guess you have to atleast have 50 discussions so that your star will consistently be where it is.

we are in the same predicament. my star rating reached 10 once but it was reduced to 7 and now,I'm on 8...i wasn't aware of star ratings here on mylot before until one member asked me how i got to 9 with just a few posts. that was when i knew how it worked. i was really amazed with my 9 coz I've noticed others who have more posts than i had but got low ratings. i was even more elated when i got to 10. i mean, i wasn't very active then but i have always tried to be polite and post honest discussions and responses.
until one day i was surprised to see how far it went down. maybe, there were some members who didn't like my posts, for what reason, i don't know. but that should not let us down since that doesn't affect our earnings. yeah, i think so. it's just a way of mylot of keeping us on our toes and to urge us to be more active in here...just keep posting and eventually, you'll establish some kind of a reputation and hopefully nobody will rate you negative anymore...

no one seems to have an exact answer for this. they keep saying maybe some discussions got deleted? i dont know

Hi yadav8797,
It has happened to mine as well, it is down to other Mylotters who is rating your discussions, some are rating you - if they don't like your discussion or not rating you at all. but I'm not too sure, so maybe other Mylotters will tell you why, but don't worry too much but keep Mylotting and just have fun.

As far as I know your star rating change according to other myLotter rate your comments. If they push plus it should increase your star rating. If they decide to push minus, that should lead to decrease. Also if somebody mark your answer as the best, that should influence your rating positively. When your rate is fluctuating, that is probably because you are getting also positive and negative rates.
