Which is your best swimming stroke. Are you a professional swimmer.If yes What is your maximum distance your have swimmed Without rest. My favourite stroke is butterfly, and free stroke. How many hours do you swim everyday.Did you gain anything (Except your muscles )out of swimming.

I used to compete. My best stroke would be the freestyle. Butterfly is not for me.:P I find swimming relaxing, even in an intense competition.:)

My best and fastest swimming stroke would have to be freestyle but I was a pretty good backstroker too when I was in school! I used to do laps after work at one stage too and would do around 60 laps of a 25M pool every evening without stopping, so this is 1 and a half kilometres. I never really mastered the butterfly stroke either. This stroke is hard to keep up for any long period of time but it's great for fitness. I unfortunatey haven't been swimming for a very long time now but I would like to take it back up again one day.
