I enjoy a variety of music. Before I became a christian, I used to listen to R & B, and a little rap, and Motown oldies. I didn't like instrumental music much at all. Now that I am a christian, I mainly listen to gospel, I even like contemporary gospel music, and ironically, I enjoy instrumental as well. I still like to occasionally listen to some Motown oldies. I don't habitually listen to R & B or rap, unless it is gospel rap. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. How about you, what music do you listen too?

I like almost any style of music but my favorite is Christian R & B, gospel, contemporary christian. I LOVE music and can't live without it, lol. I have my stereo on all day while I am home and once I get in the car it's turned on too. I love inspirational music. There's nothing like waking up in the morning to something like Mary Mary, Get up, and starting your day out!

My kids LOVE that song ("Get Up") as well. It definitely is a GREAT MOOD SETTER!They even have a cute little number they do everytime they hear it. They hold hands together and swap down and as they say get up, they jump up in the air. Almost in sync!!! Too funny, and during the rest of the lyrics, they are doing somewhat of the twist... I'll have to capture it on video on day. Send to America's funniest home videos or something. They love for me to join them as well ~ we use that as a bonding time. We keep the gospel station on all day everyday. So my son, practically knows a lot of songs by heart, some of the newer songs that I haven't even heard yet, I can hear him singing the lyrics, and I turn to my wife and she's like he listens to the radio all day long. He's definitely an (audiotorry

Wow, that's the first time I've heard of those styles of music (Non Phixion and Jedi Mind Tricks). Are those from the soundtrack of Star Wars the movie?

I love the old Rock and Roll, the Motown sound, anything from my younger years, 50's and 60's.. I also love the Southern Gospel music, the old time gospel music, none of the new stuff for me.. I also like to listen to Dr. Hook, Jimmy Buffet, Bob Segars and sometimes Easy listening, you know, the elevator music.. I like it to relax by..

Actually, I like many styles of music, like rock, alternative, indie, punkrock, ska, ska-punk, jazz, jazz-rock, classic, blues and so on. I don't really like rap, pop, and heavy metal, it's pain to my ears :\ Physical or moral :D However, I do like performing some rap, pop songs with my friends :)) Weird, isn't it?

I meant to tell welcome to mylot on one of my other posts. I don't think its weird, mostly I don't listen to music that is tearing down a person, idea or anything like that. I primarily listen to music that is encouraging, uplifting and overall positive in nature. Heavy Metal is pain to my ears as well. That and punkrock (sorry).
