I am looking at the news now and Repo's are doing big business. They are repoing, cars, work van, work trucks, personal truck. The repossession business is booming. Because of the economy people are losing their vehicles, the repo man said he is only doing his job. He is human he does have feelings and sympathy for these people. People are begging for the companies to help them keep there belongings. http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/us/2008/10/18/lemon.repo.man.cnn?iref=videosearch

There are some cases where things SHOULD be repossessed. People get in way over their heads and don't look at or choose to see the 'fine print' befort they sign. They just want; period. But, with today's economy and people losing their jobs left and right, rising costs of everything EXCEPT paychecks, more and more people are falling victim to the economy. I would not be able to live with myself, repossessing what may be a person's only lifeline to their jobs. The same is true with house foreclosures. They are at an all-time high. I couldn't zoom in to take advantage by buying up house after house because someone couldn't afford their house payments, especially when some of them have lived in those houses for many years! I am not able to answer your question because you haven't posted a question here! I can only say that I feel very sad that so many people are losing so much of their lives because of today's economy that will only get worse before it gets better.

Your response is great. I feel the same way you do about repossession. I am going to use your response for my question. I hope you don't mind. What are your thoughts on repossession?

Hi chevee, That was really sad to watch. I felt really badly for that woman. I know that things are really bad for everyone now and there are alot of people that are suffering because of the economy. There isn't much that can be done if you are unable to pay for your car then there is no choice for the company but to reposses it. People are losing jobs, cars, homes and have no where to turn. It is a terrible situation to be in and there doesn't seem to be a way out. We just have to hope that there will be a change in the economy so that we all can get back on our feet soon.
