When can you consider that the promise is a word. Or a word is a promise. Usually guy makes promises, they got all the promises they want but in the end they broke their promises and says thats only a words. And sometimes it hurts when you hear that "its only a word". So, when do you say that Promise is a Word?

leicyn the guy who says that a promise is just a word is a jerk, andyou need to get away from him. to me a promise is more than just a word, it is a bond thatsays you can betrusted and if you dont keep this promise you are not trustworthy at all. Of course it hurts when a guy is a jerk and does not keep a promise.A promise is a word that holds' you to do what you said you would, its not just a word. Only 'a louse treats it as only a word. If I make you a promise it will be a lot more than just word,it will be my bond.

A promise is a word when there are no action plans behind it. Let's say I promise to marry you. Hey girl! if there's no formal proposal and no wedding plans that's only a word! A promise is always coupled with preparations and clear intentions. Sometimes if a guy look into your eyes with all the promises of love it seems so true. Just be wise and look behind those promises, if there are no signs of concrete plans that's promises that are meant to be broken. Be ready for that!
