Hi there.
I was wondering if anyone might have any advice for someone wanting to earn some extra money at home. I'm actually looking to make enough of an income to support myself in my attempt to "take the plunge" and commit myself to writing a book. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I guess sorting or recycling is one of the easiest ways to earn. Try selling those newspapers and used papers to the recyclable buyers and definitely you will earn from there. You can also sell those old metal bars (or any junk).
The only capital you need is the materials that you no longer use or find value in anything.

Plant maintenance. Just like people need help taking care of pets, they also need help with plants. Make some extra cash by taking care of house plants and even outdoor gardens while people are on vacation. You could also offer to take of the plants kept in local offices on more of a long term basis.
Internet research. Really know your way around the Internet? Offer your skills in research to local businesses. You may have to do a few freebies to get your foot in the door, but this could be a tax deduction as a startup cost in your quest to generate extra money.
keep posting take care and have fun..
