Money is often short in this household and I don't need extra stress. My most favorite time of the year is holiday time. We have a truck and trailer and we go camping every year and I will till I'm just not able to do it anymore. I find it relaxing, you're away from the phone, away from the nosey neighbours, no housework to do and I love washing dishes outside. I love to slop around and not have to clean. Nothing beats sitting around a camp fire with the quitar and a sing song.

Hello,Annjilenna! In my state of India Durga Puja is one of the great festivals which we celebrate gorgeously. This festival is celebrated by all Hindus for four days with much pomp and ceremony. The image of Goddess Durga is worshiped during these days and on the fifth day it is immersed in the rivers.During the festival friends and relations from far and near come to the city to participate in the puja.thanx.

It Christmas for me. I can't think of any other celebration which more relevant than Christmas. The festivities, the gift giving, the decorations, the parties, the bountiful food and most of all it is the commemoration of the birth of my Savior. Without the first Christmas...there is no more chance to have eternal life. All of us will all go to a place which burns with brimstone and fire. But thank God for there is Christmas...the day Jesus became a man to die for our sins.
Indeed if only for that reason, I celebrate this season with gladness. I always make it a point to give gifts. Christmas is giving because God gave His son who in turn offers us the free gift of salvation.
