Most people are moody,ie they get disturbed by small things especially if it happens first thing in the morning which spoils their entire day. There are so many things happening today that it is difficult to keep one`s mood good throughout the day.Actually everything is in the mind.If we can learn to control our thoughts and the mind then it is possible to retain a good mood throughout. To achieve this one must [ractice Yoga,Pranayam and dep meditation. This will help to remove stress, relax the mind and drive out depression completely. Then even if something bad happens the Yogi can handle it without getting disturbed. Constant yogic practice leads to tranquillity and hence a good mood is retained throughout the day.

Tricky one this! I think it's a lot down to the attitude towards life we cultivate. In the end we are responsible for creating our own good mood. It is just not good enough to blame others for putting us in a bad mood. Generally we attract people and circumstances to ourselves, that match the way we are. So if we want to change the outside, it is a good idea to look at the inside!!! Certainly, it can be too easy to moan about things - "oh, the economy has gone really bad", "she did such a bad thing to me". Sometimes, these seemingly bad things that happen to us, that make us feel like been in a bad mood, can help set us up to learn and make the future better. How we "see" things, makes a lot of difference. I actually think that the recession/ depression will bring a lot of good things, such as people coming closer to each other, an increase in community spirit, as people work more closely together to get through these economically more stringent times...

in order not to be moody i simply enjoy my morning Ethiopian coffee (Yrgacheffe), have a morning shower (i prefer chocolate-mint aroma in the morning), stroke my cats which that very thing brings out the very mood in me, i try to do some reading; there's a Spanish saying: if you're not having the right mood don't even stand out of bad, wait for the good mood to arrive=)
