installing windows xp service pack 3? / myLot

i currently have windows home edition, and i currently have widows service pack 2.. i am a bit skeptic in installing windows xp service pack 3. have you installed it? if yes, hasd you experience problems after installing it?

I have installed service pack 3 without any problems at all. I didn't have any problems after sp2 either. I find they help as I can upgrade other software as well. Good Luck

I installed SP3. It is mainly made up of security fixes only.

I recommend installing it only if you have some thing to worry about current security as it slowed down some of the applications I use. I had to uninstall and reinstall them again.

I upgrade to service pack 3 on my and my sisters computer. We've both had no problems so I believe it should work fine for you. I hope this helps. Happy Mylotting!!!!
