legends in your life?

the stories, folk tales and legands are passed down from generation to generation, and we grow up listening to some of them. are there any such stories you still remember from childhood? how does it relate to your life and do you beleive in what you were told? when i was a child, i seldom listened to folk tales, because i was born in village. so some songs that many children have listening to but most time it was the first time i listened it. i did not like to listen to the ghost story when i was young, but those elder brother tend to talk about the ghost. i still remember i was very afraid and tremble that time, however, it is curious that i can not remember what i litsoned in my childhood. when i was a child, my two little sisters and i would like to request my grandpa to tell us the stories, and at that time my grandpa would like to rise up from his back and told us the old stories. my grandma just sat on the kang and also listen to the stories on one hand and did her work on the other hand. maybe grandpa had few stories. each time when my sisters to tell you anymore, i have tell all the stories to you already. but my sisters contined to beg him. at this time my grandma would said to my grandpa. just tell a story to them. you do not see that they have begged you for so long a time. then my grandpa had no choice and told us another story. but it was so strange that each time the story my grandpa told to us was different. we all become older. and it must be several years until the last time we listend to my grandpa's stories. and i had also forget the stories. how time flies. when we were young boys, we were so naive that we believe in all the things that our parents teld us, and we believed that someday the story would come true.\
