how does a mosquito die?

hey mylotters! I've thinking about this question but it confused me for a long time. I searched about this question on the Internet, and i know that the average life span is about 3 to 100 days. But how they die actually? do they just die in the air because they cannot fly any more? or do they just die on the wall or on the ground? OMG, why this question confused me such a long time. someone help me out. thanks a lot~

Hi merrycherry,
They can when some swat them as well, we don't have mosquito in our country because it is so cold, but I really don't know how they die, strange.

Well I know this isn't the answer you are looking for but they die here either by the foggers I put off outside around the pool or by me smashing them to smithereenes!LOL
Interesting I didn't know they lived for 100 days!
