Marraige is very much essential for everyone whether you like it or not.It is true that sometimes bcoz of some broken marraiges we feel discouraged. But,a person should only marry when he is willing to commit into that relationship. It is a very beautiful moment in life.Today marraiges are breaking bcoz one partner expects a lot from other and is not willing to give much.Secondly within two life partners i feel ego should not prevail. And above all I feel that three things are essential for marraige love, respect and trust. If you have these three then definitely your marraige will never break.I got married only two months back but was engaged two years back.At times we used to fight a lot and i thought that this relation will not work but then he would always come up to say sorry or i would say sorry and that very moment our fight would end.Even though we are husband and wife but we are best friends also.

in my honest opinion, NO. marriage is not compulsory, and should not be made so. however, our culture has dictated that marriage be made that, so i guess it would take a long long time before everyone accepts the concept of marriage being NOT necessary for a relationship. i have a daughter already, and i am living in with the father of my daughter. we are not married, and no plans yet. we are waiting for the time when we are 100% sure we can say and keep our vows.
