for those who have not noticed digger cameras are no longer being shown at the tracks because of network contracts or somthing. why are these rich networks not alowing these cameras to be viewed on other networks when the race fans like me have enjoyed the views of the races from the ground (digger cameras) i hope thats what they are called. will not buy a shirt sorry darrell waltrip.

You used to see the cameras from the wall on almost every network. Of course, that was back in the day of the great announcers like Ned Jarrett and Junior Johnson. Nowadays, the networks make their own things. Then they probably patent them, so the other networks have to wait longer to use them. One thing that I do like is the car cameras. I am glad they haven't taken those away. It's pretty neat when you can see the inside of the car, or you can see the driver's point of view when there is a crash right in front of them and they barely miss it. Have a great day!

I agree with you. I like the in car cameras. But you know what bothers me? When you watch one of the restrictor plate races and there is a pass for the lead going on or some kind of tight racing and they show you the view from the back bumper of the car. The only thing you can see from that view is the car in behind's hood right in the camera. I like to watch the race, not just how close the cars are to each other.

im pretty sure that particular camera is property on the fox network which is why you probably only see it on their network since they went to all the trouble of actually naming it and now they even have gone so far as to have made little animated digger and his family which is kind of funny but i dont get why they wont let the other networks use it too they could always work out a fee to use it. it is a unique camera angle really makes it look like the cars are coming right at you.
