Create a CRISIS: Elect 0BAMA!

United States
October 20, 2008 10:25am CST
Yes, it is true. Democratic VP candidate Joe Biden today sent a clear message the sub text of which is: VOTE FOR MCCAIN! I know it seems unbelievable, so let me explain. Biden warned a group of supporters, (actually promised them) that within the first 6 months of an 0bama Presidency he would be tested by an international crisis. So, you don't want the crisis? VOTE MCCAIN who has the experience & wisdom to avoid that crisis. Biden said much more, mostly ridiculous stuff. Anyone really want this man one heartbeat away? Read about it here at ABC news. http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar/2008/10/biden-to-suppor.html I say that if the election of 0bama is going to spark an international crisis, promised to us and guaranteed by a self proclaimed Senatorial expert, we should elect the other guy. VOTE MCCAIN. What do you say?

I say that 0bama and Biden deserve each other. They are a perfectly matched pair of idiots. I do know that the people who hate America are rooting for 0bama, which is enough reason right there not to vote for him.

The list of America's enemies who want 0bama to win is impressive considering 0bama is someone who can walk the streets and not be heckled as a traitor and a disgrace.

I heard that today between store, and the only thing I could think about is how big of a dolt this guy sounds. Here is Biden bragging about Obama's ability to handle a crisis that no one except himself knows about. It would be like someone giving a speech about McCain's ability to handle an invasion by Canada in the Florida Keys by a submarine. Like you say if no one wants this crisis of Biden's then vote for McCain.

Biden's little speech almost qualifies him for the loonie bin. It certainly disqualifies him for holding elective office. What is wrong with the guy? Bad Prozac reaction?

I personaly feel that I have believed that Mccain was the right man. His experience and record would be my preference and even more so in times of testing.I dont like where the money came from to get Obama into the senate. I watched fox last night. I saw where the slum lord donated to Obama. That money came from the suffereing and loss of those tenants who lived under those terrible conditions.I just dont agree with his history and what has gone on. There were very specific details given last night with plenty of proof.

Certainly this country has better than McCain or 0bama, but of the 2, it is McCain for me. I'll bet 0bama is wishing about now for a VP other than Biden.

Frank Marshall Davis may be 0bama's real father. Davis is a devout hard core communist who was 0bama's childhood mentor. This could change the election significantly. Watch news on Wednesday.

I doubt he knows anything, in my opinion Biden doesn't know much about anything. I'm worried something will happen to Obama and we will have him for our, lol, Commander and Chief.

i highly disagree with this statement,as obama is the destiny of the usa and this is inevitable because america needs a change and bush has placed the country in a mess, which obama has to clean up when he gets into power.obama's reign would be the revelation of god's word taking place.

Certainly, America is in a mess. If 0bama is elected, I surely hope he can clean it up. Personally, I think McCain and 0bama are both a big part of the problem. When they both supported the ripoff of the taxpayers called a bailout, I knew neither of them really has much respect or loyalty to ordinary Americans.

There is no destiny nor reign. The next President will be a public servant for a term. And should not be idolized. Because one that puts way too much of a load on a person and two it's just insane IMO. Obama is just a person. Nothing more and nothing less. A smooth talker, but with a little fact checking people can find out it's not as easy sounding as he makes it out to be. I do not believe he has it in his best interest to protect our constitutional rights or even our constitution which is what our country has been founded upon.

Boy he stuck his foot in his mouth. It's not like the American people are not already worried enough of what an Obama administration would be for America. I wonder does he forget sometimes that he is Obama's running mate and not McCain's? lol All kidding aside I do believe that an Obama Administration would be tested further than a McCain Administration. Obama comes off soft to these terrorists. Someone with no experience you would feel you could push to the limit. McCain on the other hand being military and knowing what these guys think, and not being afraid to act of course they will feel less comfortable on attacking. However either way their will be an uproar of some sort. A lot is going on in this world right now and we are not out of danger yet and we need someone to finish this up and close the door on terror and not put us out too quick and do half the job and then leave it for our children and their children. And for times when we are going to be tested isn't it better to have someone in office who has already passed so many tests in the past, than to have someone who hasn't? Seriously Biden is just hurting Obama. Why he choose him as his running mate I will never know.

None of us ordinary folks will ever know for sure why Biden was chosen. It sure seems to have been a bad choice.

Redyellow, I would have to agree that he readily handed the campaign over like that with his comments. I was like, ok, why even mention the situation? I was told that the FBI has already briefed both camps of the situations going on and that is why he is going on such a tandem, but I felt they shouldn't have been said. I also feel both camps did some things that to me were foolish or unwise decisions. But I knew long before this campaign, that the world as we know it is wrapping up to a close. I can only say at this point is to vote your conscience. plain and simple.

If Obama wins, he will be just a follower of Pilosi and the other Democrats in Congress. So, because of their ideas about protecting the U.S., I fear there will be another terrorist attack on U.S. soil within at most 2 to 2.5 years after Obama takes office if he wins.

Everyone is going crazy with this election. It seems to me as if there is nothing in this world other than this election. Will it really mean the end of whatever it is that the world has? We, a world away, have been living under the burden of inept and corrupt officials. What changes with every election? Nothing.

Well I read parts of the link and i had heard about this earlier today when my father mentioned it to me....I am still voting for McCain. And you are right, it does sound like a cry for voting for the other guy. ANd the world is watching us through this election. And honestly if this is an accurate account of what Biden has said then it sounds like he is quesitonable about his own Presendential runnng mates future....in terms of experience. Plus, I don't like the wishy washy-ness of Biden. Remember not long ago he felt Obama was not ready to be President and he would have been honored to run with McCain. And it also bothers me that Biden's name is alongside Obama's on the contoversial bill that everyone thinks is not so controversial....coincidence I think not. Maybe that is the surprise that not too many people will be happy about...and it won't be the ones who read it and understand The United Nations will require to collect a tax and give to the UN to distribute the wealth worldwide....

Well I for one am not assuming that Obama has the office just yet. And most likely you are right IF he gets into the office. But I have faith that McCain and Palin still have a good chance as Joe the Plumber has once again proven where Obama says one thing but it actually means another....

Lol, I think he was referring to the economical crisis. The world is in uproar, and they blame the US. He could also have referred to Obama and McCain having been called to Washington to be briefed on info that there might be a terrorist attack right after the election. Who knows, of course Biden could also finally have seen the light and realized what he has gotten himself into... This whole election is a disaster anyway.

This election a disaster? Well, YES! Who disagrees with that? As to Biden, I remember him years ago with his plagerism scandal and was amazed to find he was still in office. He has no shame.

Here I go again, treading into waters that I know I will stir up, however, I have to respond. I read what Biden has to say and I didn't take it the way everyone else seems to have taken it. Although considering most, scratch that, all of you who have posted are McCain supporters, I can see where you might come to that conclusion. Being an Obama/Biden supporter, I see a man who is unfortunately stating facts. Obama will be our first black president and even though this is America, we all know there are still many racist Americans who will not like Obama no matter what the man does or says. He could literally walk on water and they'd still hate him. Do our enemies know this? Of course they do. I think what Biden is trying to say is that America's enemies will test not only Obama but the American people as well. They will want to see if our country can band together or if we will tear ourselves apart fighting over race and the fear of terrorism that Palin and McCain like to put in voter's heads regarding Obama. Someone made a comment about worrying about a guy like Obama who has come out of nowhere with lots of money. Kennedy was the same way and while I was only a little girl when he was President, my family thought he was a great President. As far as who Obama associates himself with, I do have concerns however, I have concerns over McCain as well. He hasn't shown the best judgment in who he hangs out with either and he was and is a lot older than Obama. I don't believe anyone can say their candidate's hands are clean when it comes to who they associate themselves with or who they take money from. Biden also talked about the economic state of the nation. Yes, I have to agree with him. There will be a lot of people who think that as soon as Obama (or McCain)are sworn in, things will automatically change. They can just wave their magic wand across the land and make everything better. Bull. Neither one of them are going to be able to stabilize this country for a while. It will take at least two years for either of them to make a big difference but rest assured, the putting down and I told you you shouldn't have voted for him's will start within weeks of either man taking the oath of office. Bush put us in debt within 2 years of being voted into office the first time. I voted for him the first time. Now I beat myself up all the time for even thinking of voting for him in the first place. However, I can say I didn't make the same mistake twice like some people did. And I feel, and this is just my opinion so don't throw things, that if I were to vote for McCain, I might as well let Bush have four more years. They are almost alike in the way they think, the way they want to run the country, heck their voices even sound alike. But I digress. Biden was just stating the facts and planning for the worse. There is nothing wrong with seeing the way things might be and planning ahead. At least he's not wearing rose covered glasses like Sarah Palin and even McCain. I don't know how many times I've heard them state that the economy, the state of the country and everything will be just fine. Why? Because we're Americans. We are Americans, however, we were and still are Americans even though the country is falling further and further into debt and more men and women are dying every day. Biden brought up Bin Laden and Al Queda and he should. The man who planned and started the attacks on 9/11 is still alive and well, hiding out while Bush has had everyone in the wrong country settling a score for his father. And who was right there with him when Bush decided to go to the wrong country? McCain. So after reading what Biden had to say, it didn't make me rethink my vote. It made me believe that I was making the right decision. I would rather have two men who know where the country stands and who knows what they are headed into taking over the White House than two people who think everything will be just fine because we are Americans and we want it to be okay. Reality vs. fantasy. And while I love watching fantasy, when it comes to living in the world, I'm a realist.

"Someone made a comment about worrying about a guy like Obama who has come out of nowhere with lots of money. Kennedy was the same way." Your response is long and thoughtful. I do appreciate it. The quote above, however, is simply incorrect. JFK did not just come out of nowhere and everyone knew where his money came from. JFK was a much more known, less mysterious quantity in American politicans than is 0bama. I surely do agree with you that it is a fantasy to believe everything will work out all right merely because we are Americans. It was a dumb thing to say.
