Halloween Costume

I just got my costume I ordered from ebay. It was supposed to be Rainbow Brite but when I got it all it was, was a bra, skirt and the leg/arm warmers. It's too big and I can't return it. I am probably gonna try to re-sell it on ebay. I can't get it in any store either. The one I wanted originally was an actual outfit that covered me up, not a flimsy hooker outfit. I live in PA so it's gonna be cold. I am kind of bummed about this cause it was gonna be awesome. I can't use my bank account right now cause of id theft so I can't even get the actual one I wanted!! What is everyone else being for Halloween??

Oh that sucks! Can't you complain to the seller that it is not what you ordered? If the seller sent you an item not as described, you can take action on eBay and get your money back.
I hate how costumes have become so skimpy lately. My friend wanted to dress up as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz and all the costumes have super short skirts and instead of sparkly red flats you get 6 inch high heels. It's crazy.

Well she did reply to me and is willing to let me return the item. She charges a 15% restocking fee as long as it's in the original packaging. I think I am missing the cardboard piece though. I mean I paid $40 for it so I should get a decent amount back. Thanks for the response.

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles, I hope you are able to work something out. I am going as an accountant, I know some costume huh. Well I am not one for silly costumes and all of that so I through i'd just raid my closet and wear a usualy favorite. Chances are that amoung all the hooplah I fit right in for a change.

I'm sorry it didn't work out! I was just looking at buycostumes.com and the only Rainbow Bright I see sounds almost like the one you got. Hopefully you'll be able to resell it.
As for what I'm going to be - a witch. I know it's the oldest thing in the book but I saw a hat I absolutely had to have and went with it. This is the first time in three years that I actually have my costume figured out and I'm not scrambling at the last minute.
