I was thinking about going to France and Germany mainly. But, where else should I go? Plus, what fun things should I do while I'm there? Thanks.

Hi there ! There are so many places to go and visit that i don't really know where to start. The countries that I would visit for their culture are: France (for Disney Land, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral etc); Italy (The San Marco Market, Venice, The Tower of Pisa, The Colosseum etc); Great Britain (London's Attractions - Big ben, The free museums, and other places); Germany (the Mercedes City Museum) and the list could go on... Now the main thing is that you have to think how much do you have available to spend before choosing any of them.

You could go to Paris, La Rochelle and somewhere along the French Rivera. It would be lovely for you to see the Black Forest, Bavaria and the River Rhine in Germany. You could pop over to Belgium to visit picturesque Bruges. Alternatively you could pop over to Austria to see beautiful Salzburg or over to the Czech Republic to see Prague. I hope that you will have a wonderful time in Europe.

I have been to Europe many times and lived and worked in London for two years. There is so much to see in every country that it's hard to make just a few recommendations. Some of my favorite places were Athens, Greece (to see all the ancient monuments like the Acropolis); the south of France (Nice is beautiful with lovely beaches and a tropical feel); Barcelona (for its great architecture and fun tapas scene); Rome (for the great food and the Borghese Gardens); London (for its fantastic art museums, Kew Gardens, and great music scene); and Paris (the most beautiful city in Europe, in my opinion). The important thing is to spend quality time exploring wherever you finally decide to visit. Sometimes there is the inclination to rush from place to place, seeing all the most famous sites. But if you relax, enjoy the environment, the cafes and clubs, the open air markets and parks, you will find that you have a much more enjoyable time mixing with the natives instead of merely visiting tourist sites where you never encounter any locals. Remember try new things, be open and friendly, soak up the culture, seek the out of the way corners, and have a wonderful trip!!!!
