Hello guys... I just finished watching episode 4 of The Amazing Race Season 13. The episode was titled I Wonder If They Like Blondes In New Zealand? #1. Ken and Tina (Fast Forward: Seven Night trip for two to Rio De Janeiro. #2. Terence and Sarah #3. Kely and Christy #4. Toni and Dallas #5. Nick and Starr #6. Andrew and Dan #7. Aja and Ty #8. Marissa and Brooke (Eliminated) At the Pit Stop in La Paz, Bolivia frustrations continued to build up betwen Nick and Starr and Kelly and Christy. The clue given to them at the start insturcted them to fly more than 6,900 miles to Auckland, New Zealand and there they had to find their way at night to the Gulf Harbor to untie a knot which would reveal their clue. The first of only two fast forwards was given then and there. Ken and Tina and Andrew and Dan both went to it but it was Ken and Tina who got their first. They bypassed all tasks and went straight to the pit stop. Then the rest of the teams made their way to Mount Eden where there was a Roadblock which only one member may complete. This one was "Who has an eye for detail?" No one really took time here except I think two teams had to do it again but not really any loss of time. Terence, Andrew, Christy, Starr, Aja, Brooke and Toni did this task. After this they all had to travel to the City Life Hotel and they had to go to the roog and using binoculaurs they had to search for a Travelocity Gnomes (These have appeared in many seasons). Once they found it and retreived it, the Gnome instructed them to go to Kiwi 360*. At this point, Marissa and Brooke were way behind with Aja and Ty in front of them. Terence and Sarah lead the pack. Once they arrived at Kiwi 360* there was a detour, which is a choice between two tasks. In this detour teams had to choose between Matter of Time and Matter of Skill. In Matter of Time teams were required to travel to a kiwi orchard and crush kiwis using their feet to make twelve quarts of juice. Each member then had to drink a glass of it. In Matter of Skill, teams traveled to BioCart Heaven and then assembled two BioCarts, which they were required to complete three laps on. Terence and Sarah, Kelly and Chirsty and Marissa and Brooke successfully completed Matter of Time. Nick and Starr, Andrew and Dan and Aja and Ty tried Matter of Time but gave up and went for Matter of Skill which they successfully completed. Toni and Dallas went straight for Matter of Skill and completed it. During the Matter of Skill task, Starr fell off her BioCart and injured her hand. It looked realy bad but you couldn't really tell if she had broken it or not. Nevertheless she went on and comepleted the laps. After these tasks were completed, teams were given their final clue which instructed them to go the Pit Stop where Phil and Phil's Dad were waiting. All six teams went to the Pit Stop and in the end Aja and Ty and Marissa and Brooke fought it out doing different tasks. In the end though, Aja and Ty beat out Marissa and Brooke who got eliminated. Some quotes; Starr: "The arm is hurting really bad, but we're still team 5. We're still here. Terence: (regarding the kiwi bucket at the Matter of Time detour task) The bucket was lined with a layer of jagged rocks and then on top of it were these incredibly hard stubborn kiwis. Marissa: Brooke and I will be best friends forever. So what did you think of this episode? Did you want Marissa and Brooke to stay in The Amazing Race? Did you like my summary of the episode? Should I do it every week? Crazysah

I wanted the Southern Belles to stay longer than some of the other teams that still made it. They were funny in their own way but it seemed like they were taking their sweeeeet time to do their tasks. I mean, they didn't even show any major problem that they had to go through except missing that rope for a while. All teams got to New Zealand at the same time and what took them so long after the other teams? I still get confused which one's which among the frat boy but that guy who's all talk (give me sports trivia anytime! Really???) should shut up. Heheh. The brother-sister team, the divorcees and Terence and Sarah are my bottom teams now just because they're getting on my nerves. As much as I'm scared of Tina, she and her ex-husband are starting to grow on me. The mother-son team is okay and so's the long-distance couple. Did you notice that whoever was "optimistic" about that kiwi stomping task got to finish it and fast? Those who whined about the rocks at the bottom had a harder time and most of them decided to switch. I like how Nick (the brother) still had to ask his sister (who's injured) if she wants him to drive. Duh????? Yeah, definitely, you should do these summaries. I thought I'd just say a few sentences and ended up with a whole paragraph there. Obviously, I love Amazing Race. Hi, I'm Phil's dad.

Ahaha. My point is Nick shouldn't have had to ask. He should have just told his sister that he was driving since she was hurt and all. That's all. See you next Sunday or Monday!

No way. I din't like the Southern Belles. I thought it was time they left. Thank god they did. Though their comments about New Zealand and all were funny. Yes. I agree that the Frat Boy who said that should shut up and let his partner help him in times of need. I love the brother-sister team! I hate the divorcess soo much! Ken and Tina should stop winning! Terence and Sarash need one arguement and they will burst. Yes. I noticed that about the Kiwi stomping task. The optomistic teams got through but even if the others were optimistic they might not have still finished it. Sometimes, people get annoyed while driving if you say get out of the car, I am driving or something to that extent. So it was right for Nick to first ask, then Starr to stop and Nick to take over. Smoothly done in my opinion by Nick. Yes, even I ended up saying loads of stuff and wrote paragraphs in my replies to all your comments. I love the Amazing race too and yes, hello out there to Phil's Dad.

Good job with this update. As far as Marissa and Brooke, I would rather they stayed over someone like Terrence and Sarah and Ken and Tina. Or, even the divorcees.

As much as I don't like the divorcees, I dislike Terrence and Sarah more. Really, I dislike Terrence. He's a big baby. I really don't like the divorcees either. So, as soon as Terrence is gone then I want the divorcees gone. Unless Tina and Ken are still around. I want them gone first out of everyone!

Thanks. Why would you want Marissa and Brooke to stay over Terrence and Sarah... I don't think Marissa and Brooke had the mentality and the strength to go any further.

I liked the other blonds answer to the comment "Do they have blonds in NZ?" "We're not rare you know." I'm sorry they got eliminated. But, you could tell they were just too tired to go on. Jet lag on that flight must have really hite them. I would rather that the divorcees left. They are such evil witches. They don't like that they almost got u-turned, which is part of the rules. But, then they eavesdropped at the airport, and laughed about how they got eveyrone else to do their work for them. They don't want other teams to race, but they don't want to put any effort into winning either. Apparently because they divoooooorceeeed, they should be allowed to win. I am starting to get an idea why their husbands left them. Aja is a piece of work too. Last week with her pot stirring. If she shouldn't tell them the details, then she should have kept her mouth shut. And her beating on her boyfriend while demanding a hug. That was just disturbing. I doubt she hurt him, but it was right after he was complaining about her attitude. Her reaction was to punch him until he hugged her. Just ick. Tina and Ken did not grate much. Terrence and Sarah are going to implode. Give me some attention, Sarah. Wow, insecure much? And the frat boys are in trouble. He better not speak up much from now on. Just because he couldn't put the carts together doesn't mean his opinion is worthless for the rest of the race. Dallas gets the insensitive remark of the week award for the funny, but wrong remark about the Maori Warriors "Please don't eat my mom." Other than that, I like this team. They work well together, they encourage each other. I hope they continue on. Oh, and if I am ever doing a task that requires attention to detail do not shout every so often "C'mon, you can do it" or anything else. Especially, if you want me to finish quickly. Shouting just distracts me from the task at hand.

I totally agree with all that you are saying. I loved the Blondes comment as well but I was not sad to see them go. I think it was time they were to go and they did go. Kelly and Christy are so annoying. They get everyone else to do everything and then just go about the rest themselves! They should get eliminated next week. Also their fights with Nick and starr are so useless. They also never took Nick's apology! Arrgh! Aja is annoying with Ty but I think their relationship as a dating couple will last the race. They will get stronger as the race goes on but they won't win IMO. Yes, Terence and Sarah just need one arguement to explode. Also, Ken and Tina need to stop winning! I like Dallas and his Mom. Good team and they have a good chemistry between them. They might end up doing really well on thw race. Yes - I shall post my review of each week's episode here. I will do it every week. I am glad you liked it.

I love "The Amazing Race," and watch it every Sunday like clockwork. I was sorry to see the Nerds drop out of the race last week. Right now I guess that I am rooting for the mother and son team. I am really tired of Ken and Tina winning every week, and I am not fond of either of them. Right now everything is hunky-dory because they are winning. I think if they were losing, you would see a different side to this couple, much like Aja and Ty, who are struggling. I loved the scenes from Bolivia and were a little sad when they switched the action to New Zealand. And of course, I always want to see more of the scenery and less of the competition, but I guess that's because I love travel. What a great TV show for anyone who loves to travel like I do!

Yes. Even I watch it every Monday (we are 9:30 hours ahead of the US) and I never miss it. I was also sorry to see the Nerds drop out but someone has too. Right now, I am rooting for Nick and Starr. I know many people hate them but I have my reasons. Yes! Me too! I hate Ken and TIna. I don't want them to win. Remmeber a few seasons ago, there were 2 model boys competing and they swept most legs except the final one! So don't think that thius good form results in a win! If they were losing, then they would be bickering and fighting and they would have easily never gotten back together. Aja and Ty are learning to cope with their relationship along with the race. I think as a dating couple they will survive the race. Yes, we all know that watching scenes are better for people who like Travel but we need action in this race. Even I love Travel but I love how they change to the great action scene! YAY for New Zealand!

The summary was good but it will be more appropriate in a blog than on mylot. Very few people will spend the time to read it and if they do not read it, it does not serve the purpose. You must have spent a bit of time writing it and also done it with a lot of interest, so a blog is the right place for it. Blog readers are a different genre. They spend a lot more time reading.

Yes. I took your advice and posted it on my blog as well. If you want the link then PM me for it. I am sure you will like my blog. I will though post it on both from next week onwards. I like posting it here as well. People can then freely discuss it! I think some people will end up reading it here and like it. Each to their own. True that blog readers spend more time and that it is better on my blog but I will post on both next week and then take a decision.
