Well in story books or fcton books we can definitely manage with any piece of paper as a bookmarker as we need to use only one at a time and it is to be used only for a while as we tend to finsh such books at the earliest possible! But in the text books when we are doing some searching weneed tocover many a topics simultaneously and we need to mark the pages, then we need something better than a piece of paper as bookmarkers! Initially I used to put any thing in the book as a marker like match stick,as it was easily available with me as I am a smoker, som times a currency note etc. But ten tese things are not actual things to be sed as boo marks.
After ging a brief thought about it, it struck o my mind that Playing cards can be used as good book markers! Because the thicknrss and the stiffness of card is such that it neither spoils yor book nor the marker itself won't get spoiled. So since the time I have started using playing cards as book markers I am really happy with them and I wanted to share this experience with my friends re on Mylot who are interested in reading the books!
What do you normally use as a book mark ?Kindly respond ! Thanks!

I don't really use book marks all that much. I mean, I never really have actual book marks, so I would use the nearest mostly flat object, or if I am just reading a book for fun, just turn in over so it is flat open upside down. But most of the time I just close the book and when I want to read it later I try to find the passage I was on. It helps refresh my memory. Did I read this part about her having the baby? Oh yes. The part where he has his own hardware store? Oh yes, I remember.

If I get a book from the library I usually use the card with the due date as a bookmark. Non-library books I use whatever I can find. My vote for most creative bookmark goes to my husband: after a one-day trip to New York City last year, I saw him using his Metrocard as a bookmark. I thought that was clever. :)
