Tater Tot Casserole

I am looking for a basic recipe for tater tot casserole without the onions, peppers or anything like that.

TATER TOT CASSEROLE Brown 1 pound hamburger. Drain. 1 c. shredded cheese 1 1/2 c. celery, diced Little salt and pepper 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can whole kernel corn Pour into casserole dish. Cover with tater tots. Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes.

A friend of mine uses hamburger also so I think I am gonna mix both of these recipes a little and see how it goes.

TATER TOT CASSEROLE 1 lb ground turkey cooked, seasoned, drained 1 1/2 2lb bags tater tots 1 cans cream of mushroom 1 cans evaporated milk 1 cans cream of chicken Brown meat & place in large casserole dish. Cover with tater tots. Mix soup & milk together. Pour over top. Bake at 350 for 1 Hour.

I use a 9x13 baking dish... 1lb browned hamburger, drained & rinsed put that back in the skillet with 2 cans of drained french style green beans, 2 cans of cream of mush bring to a boil. Pour in dish, put the pkg of tots in rows above the mixture, season the tots, & bake according to the dirctions for the tots & cover with shredded cheese the last few minutes in the oven.

I put cooked hamburger in a baking dish, cover it with cooked velveeta shells and cheese and cover that with cooked tater tots. Then I oven it for a little bit and serve.

using velveeta sounds really yummy. next time i make a tator tot casserole, i'll have to try that.

10 oz can cream of mushroom soup 1 cup grated cheddar cheese 2 lb pkg frozen tater tots 1. preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 2. mix soup, cheese, and tater tots together. 3. put in 9x13 inch pan. cover with aluminum foil. 4. bake for 45 minutes. 5. remove foil and bake another 15 minutes.
