So, I thought I would share some pictures from my trip to Vegas. Have you ever been to Vegas? I searched befor posting this and there are several Vegtas posts. But what I am looking for is personal experiences. So, tell us when you went. What you did. If you gambled, tell us how that went. Did you stay in a particular place? Where you visiting friends or family? Share with the community.

I was there twice in August. Actually, my whole "west coast" experience made some great discussions for me. I love Vegas! I gamble, win and lose. I like to stay anywhere on the strip that's cheap (yeah, and oxymoron I know!).

That's funny. I know I went there for a convention. I've been a few times now. I really have had a great time every time I have been. I tend to go and meet people that have interests in the same hobbies as myself. It's always fun. I will try to post some more pictures as I get them all sorted out.

I used to live 60 miles west of Vegas. This was many years ago, when I was just a kid, but I can remember the strip at night and how beautiful it was. I never gambled there, obviously, but I did go to Circus, Circus a few times for birthdays. I do have family that lives there now, but I have not had the chance to go visit. The best memories I have were not of Vegas itself, but of going up into the mountains with my family and going to old cabins. Thank you for bringing back such fond memories for me.

We went there in 2004, as our base for our trip around the national parks. We took our young children with us. I have to say that I did not enjoy it much, as our son got lost at the New Yoor New York casino, which was terrifying and left a slightly bad impression on me. We went to see the white tigers, which our daughter loved. We stayed at the Flamingo and used the pool quite a bit. We did not gamble at all, though. It was an exciting place to vist, despite the problems we had. I would go back again, without the kids!
