oprah is considered as one of the most influential women in the world. aside from her being a talk show host, what other qualities do you think she has that makes her so appealing to people. I mean, her show is one of the longest running talk show in television and is syndicated by a lot networks, locally and internationally.

I think that Oprah is appealing to most people because she basically represents the American Dream. She started from humble beginnings and made her way to the top. Oprah stands for ever person who has faced harshships and trails in life. She was sexually molestated more than once and by family members, she was pregnant when she was a teenager, but she did not let any of these thing stop her. She had a dream and she did not stop until she obtained it. She is a go getter and she got it.

yeah, i agree that's the major thing about Oprah.....she represents the AMERICAN DREAM....
