I placed an online order through Cabelas last Thursday, so it would arrive this week before my husband's birthday on Friday. I went in to check the order today and it is still "pending", they haven't processed it yet! I called them and got a line of bull ending with, there was nothing they could do until Wednesday, if it's still pending then please call back. I have never been more frustrated with an online order! This is the last time I will order from them and if it is not delivered by Friday, I will refuse delivery. What would you do? This is supposed to be my gift for his birthday and if they don't get it shipped I've got no way of getting it from anywhere else in time. Has this happened to you? Do you think online ordering is any more convenient than calling it in or sending in the order form?

This is why I hate to shop online, you could wai ta day or two, a week or maybe even a month or more. Stores are a lot more predictiable than that since what you are looking for is staring you right in the face. If I really need something and can afforid to wait for it to arrive then I will get it online otherwise I make do without it for find a variable subsittue for it.

I actually had something like that happen with Oh my crafts. com but you know what? I got the package before they even sent the info that my order was being processed! I really hope you get your package for your husbands birthday...what a bummer trying to sit around and wait for it!
