just do something you thought wouldn't work only to find out it does work????
I didn't think I could do too much, given the tough times and all, but mylotters encouraged me to go for it and I did! I joined up with Avon and turned in my first order today. I got my selling kit last Wednesday afternoon and managed, with the help of email and the web, to get about $100.00 in orders! I'm so excited.

Hello redkathy,
Congratulations! You made it finally. I was a member too for more than five years. I am not good at marketing or selling products, so I ended up asking my sister to sell on behalf of me. I only bought stuff for myself and the rest, is being done by my sister.

Congrats. Just make sure you don't spend the order money! That was my problem. I found I actually lost money when I did Avon, but it was all my own fault.
I quit my job of 8 years to get into veterinary nursing, which was the best thing I ever did. I was stuck at my old job, too scared to leave because I was so set in my ways. Well I am so glad I did because I am very happy where I am right now. I'm actually thinking of going back to uni next year to complete the course I attempted to start four years ago but quit, because of my anxiety. It is going to take a lot of will power from me, but I feel that now I'm a bit older I'll be able to sit through the four years successfully.

YEAH I hope it works out for you better then Mary Kay worked for me!!! Direct sales can be easy and can be hard.
By the way - gammy loves Avon did you bring her a book??

Hey, congratulations!!! I've sold Avon before and NEVER got close to a $100 order, not even with my own purchases. Keep it up! The first time I sold, we were given "territories". We weren't allowed to sell in anyone else's territory. I like the new way better because you have more flexibility. Best of luck to you and congrats again!
