Hi. By experience, I have seen people who don't like loud or rock or those that have fast beats. They wanted it solemn like a funeral song, somewhat traditional. They view Modern music as offensive to the solemnity of the Church and disrespectful and contemptous. As for me, it does't matter whether it be pop, jazz, country, ballad or rock or slow. What matters is the lyrics that glorifies or worships the Creator. I do not even categorize a song that praises God but in some parts of it discriminates against another religion. And they are never boring to me. How about you amigo, amiga? Do you find it boring?

No way. Gospel is anything but boring. lol. I love my upbeat gospel songs. They make you want to get up, shout Hallelujah and dance. I also love my slow gospel songs. It all moves the spirit. And there are so many types of Christian music, that people can find a style that suits them. But, me persoannly, I love my African American gospel, because we are not ashamed to get up and give God the glory. I'm getting excited thinking about it. I can't live without my gospel.
