*jumps up and down* I DO I DO!!! AND I LOVE IT!! I bought it I think 2 yrs ago and try to use it (though I've slacked the past few months due to traveling, school starting, traveling again and birthdays etc etc etc)...at least 3 times a week...What time of day..for me its best right after the kids have gone to school...I usually suck back a bottle of water right after they leave, do some yoga for about 20 mins then get on the gerbil machine and have at it for 30-60 mins depending on how my bones feel that day LOL

Gerbil machine? You are nuts and you know I mean that in the best possible way :-)
I'm thinking of getting one - or joining a gym again. I NEED TO DO SOMETHING! I looked in the mirror and I was horrified :-( I've gained weight and my clothes are NOT fitting properly. I literally feel like a huge fat cow.

Well what are you willing to spend? I got mine at the Sears Outlet place in Batavia I think it was for a decent price (under a $1000) and I love the thing....and damn it stop being so hard on yourself..Just start over ya know...I get side tracked all the time Mare and I USE TO get all bend when I'd fall off track but now I know thats purposeless ya know...I just pick myself up, dust myself off so to speak and start again even if its just little things like watching what i eat again, being a tad more active and so on then work my way back up to where I want to be ya know..
Ya know..I'd consider selling my gerbil machine..only because I have a rowing system on the homegym which serves the same purpose....if you want I could talk to the hubby and see what he thinks (though he'd be fine with it since I'm the only one that uses it anyway LOL)

I don't have a dollar amount yet on what I would like to spend. I know we have a big Christmas coming up with our plans for the girls room and I'm having a surprise party for James next month...:-)
I know I shouldn't be so hard on myself, but it's sad looking at myself :-( :-(

I have been thinking of getting one of these too. Especially for the winter months when I can not go walking outside. I will be out of work soon.
There is a community center not far from me that has an indoor walking area. You have to be member and pay a membership fee to go their. I think I will go for the treadmill.

I have had a treadmill for years and love to walk on it every night. I usually hop on the treadmill right after I get off work, while the kids are eating supper. Once in a while I get up early in the morning and walk before my workday starts, but normally it is too hard to get my lazy bum out of bed! I love the way I feel after walking on the treadmill in the morning. If you do buy a treadmill I would highly suggest you get one that has power incline. I think that is my favorite feature.
