Mike Singletary the new 49ers coach.

Hey Bears fans, are you proud of Singletary? He Finally got a head coach position! 49er fans, are you happy with this pick?Do you think he can turn the 49ers around?I am happy to see him get the gig. I am not a Bears or 49ers fan but I do like Mike.

#50 of the Super Bowl Champs and awesome defense of 1985-1986 season has a brilliant mind for football. He was interviewed for Da Bears before Lovie took over and I know most Bears fans wanted Mike. I wish him much success, except against my Bears. Mike Singletary is held in a special place in most Bears fans hearts. He does need a great offensive coordinator as he is defense oriented.

The 49ers, the Raiders (die-hard here) and even the A's need to clean the house. For the 49ers, they need to get new ownership, a new gm and maybe a new coach after the year, depends on how mike does. Same with the Raiders, gots to get Al outta there.

I just feel bad for him. He stepped into a big mess there. He got stuck with the players that he had no say over and has an owner who won't keep his nose out of team business. He deserves better for his first head coaching shot.

Sadly , that is the usual scenario for a first time head coach.I think he will do his best and the Niners Will get better, even with a meddling owner.
