Hi, i am currently a student at AIO online. I have already received a diplomia in web design and I am working on my associates degree. I have found with 3 kids that this is the way to go for me. I have also learned that there are many schools that are online that are not accredited. For me, I know the Art institute is a major art school around the country but what about some of the other colleges and how can you find that information out?

Wow! I think you're doing great. I wanted to take the online degrees as well, but I don't know how to started it. I think it is worth it for you would be able to earn your degree and you can learn things that you need from the internet, you wouldn't waste your time and you can still do your jobs. But I really don't know anything about that, I have asked it here in myLot as well as in many other forums, and people said that it is still better for us to go to the real school. I don't know yet, I haven't tried. But I hope you would be able to get what you want, and study in the field that you like. Good luck shortbunny1980

There are many school that do have online programs. That is how a lot of the military do it. I found my school through a military site. That is a good way to know if they are accredited. I think it really depends on what yo want to do. The University of Phionex is another good one but I did not like how they had their classes set up. I would do a search on the internet for the degree that you want. If anything, you will be able to do most of your degree online. There will be some science classes that you may need that will require labs so those can not be done online. I hope this helps. Good luck. If you want some help shoot me a private message and I can help you look for a school.

well, there may be some online schools that are not accredited by the commission on higher education in your country. you could find that out by going to their office and asking them to provide you a list of accredited online schools or better yet, if the have that link in their website. online schooling is not for everyone. like me, even in this information age, i like it better if i can see my professor and my classmates. i learn better that way.

I know what you mean. My husband is like that. But if you look at my degrees, Web design and interactive media, it is really to learn online because I have to work with the programs and make web sites for my degrees. I hope it is that easy to do. My brother in law wants to take online classes and wanted information. I was not sure how to get that information. Thanks
