There is an abundance of godmen mushrooming all over. They try to teach yo the path to peace and salvation. Some through brotherhood of man, some through a single universal God. We have had Acharya Rajneesh or "Osho" then there is "Satya Sai Baba" and a multitude of other minor godmen in India. I am sure evey country in the world must be having their share of godmen. i personally have no faith in these people, but they have thousands of followers. Are they actually Godmen having special powers or they are just conning the gullible public?

hi
i guess, 1st of all, it's a matter of personal belief. But one thing is clear that they can attract large number of people. It's quality which I don't have. So in this context they are in a different sphere. Now, whether they have any spiritual power or not, it's very difficult to say.
I guess, a person with even some kind of spiritual power, will be a symbol of sacrifice. They won't like to enjoy luxury and media coverage even in the name of letting people teach spiritualism. So, i reserve my comment about them. What I normally do in real life is carefully stay away from any such persons and better rely on that unseen, unknown God the way my mind says.
