Whats the best website for freeware programs for windows?

I like having programs that do all sorts of stuff on my computer. I use it for everything. I want to know if anybody knows any good sites for free open source programs?? Different browsers, tax software (especially for this time of year) photo edditing programs, anti-virus, firewall, everything basically. Please help!

Hi, From my experience, I think that Download.com is the best site to look for softwares.

Hi alexsam, what country you are from? Tax laws are country specific. I have one that can be used by Indian individual salary earners. Can you try to go to download.com. Then you can sort the software according to type, license and popularity. Most of good software can be obtained free there. All the best.
