what makes us fear?

is it the inherent tendency of human beings or is it that fear is also a part of life just like happiness and sorrow, we fear so many unknown things, for some people they fear heights, for some its darkness, but du we all fear some thing or the other

Hi Yes, I do fear. i have nothing wrong with height, darkness or ghosts. You can say my fear is modernized fear. Fear of terrorist attacks. I stay at home, but I'm worried about my sons and daughter. I also fear any loud sound which seems like a bomb blast.
