i am from the philippines and the only foreign country that i have visited is hongkong. it takes 1 and a half hour to travel to hongkong from the philippines. actually, i've been there twice for two different reasons. the first one was when i was 10 years old. it was during summertime. my parents, together with my 2 sisters, brother and 6 year-old niece, went there for a vacation. i really enjoyed it that time cause i was still young back then. what i remember most about it was Ocean Park. the second time the i got to Hongkong was last year. it was a midyear conference for the company where i previously had a job. we stayed there for almost 4 days. the first 2 days was the conference itself and the third was for touring. 4 of my officemates and i went to disneyland. it was so fun being there especially the fireworks before the closing of the park. well, we spent most of the time taking picture and we only got to take 4 rides. we also did some shopping on the evening of the 2nd day and the morning of our last day there. i bought alot of different things cause it's really cheap there. i bought a perfume, slippers and shirts for my self. i really enjoyed our stay there especially the disneyland and the shopping. i want to go back there someday. i think there's alot more to do there. well, if you get to have the chance, i recommend that you visit the philippines. there are alot of tourist spots here. you'll surely have memorable experiences here.:)

I am dreaming of going abroad. I love living and working there. I think it's impossible to happen because I do not have enough money. But I will strive hard to fulfill such dream. The places that I love to go to are those in Europe or in North America.

So far I was able to go and see bangkok for two days. I was in the city. The place is clean and I have to say that the traffic there is good -- compared to my country. Gosh! I really wish next year, I could go abroad.

I come from a smallish town in the east of England. Actually, I was born and grew up in a village about 8km south of where I live now. In those days a journey to London (about 80km) was an adventure. We had no car, no fridge, no TV or radio but we weren't what one would call 'poor'. My father had a good job with a very prestigious publishing company and my mother ran a small school, not because we needed the extra money but really because she felt that her children deserved a better primary education than the local schools could provide. Even so, money was tight ... that is a curious English expression, isn't it? I suppose it implies that, as children, we didn't lack for anything important but that we could, nevertheless, envy our friends and relations who went on foreign holidays and had the latest technology. I do remember, though, that we never thought of these things in 'money' terms. They were wonders that indicated a different lifestyle. In my childhood, 'to go abroad' was something that other people did. My first trip abroad was to France. It was thought to be good for my education to spend some time with a family learning French (and teaching English to their daughter). I was a very poor teacher - in spite of coming from a family of teachers - and was probably a very difficult guest. I don't remember learning much French but I suppose it stood me in good stead because I can now read and understand the language fairly well. Since then I have been abroad several times - to Ireland once, several times to France and Germany and once, last year, to visit a friend in America. I find that the really fascinating thing about 'going abroad' is not the distance but the difference in the culture. I love to learn how different people live and find that there are significant differences, even if they happen to speak the same language!

Whenever you have the opportunity, you should venture overseas on a holiday. There is more to life than just finding a job, and slogging long hours at work to earn as much as you can. Sometimes, you need to take a break. Taking a holiday abroad not only allows you to unwind and recharge (so that you can come back rejuvenated and ready to work your guts out again) but it gives you an opportunity to broaden your horizons and get a view of the outside world. It is both therapeutic and a great learning experience. Almost without fail, I have been going overseas for a holiday twice a year. I've been the many countries and explored places which I might have not seen had I not traveled. Holidays don't necessarily have to be to faraway places. It could just be a short economical one to a neighboring country on one trip, and a longer one to another continent on another trip.

hello wangkai, I'm so lucky that where I'm working for more than twenty years, they are sending me abroad to have trainings and work related. I've been sent to United States particularly in Dallas and Houston,Texas for four times already. The last one is with my family for I worked there in two years and a month. So even my family was able to see, enjoyed and experienced the life there. We've been able to go and see a lot of places here including the Disneyworld. When we came back here, they sent me to have my training in Nice,France for three months. But I was not able to go to Paris. Maybe you can go there to Paris, for what I've read and watched in the movie is a beautiful and romantic place.

Hi, I like to travel abroad too. I also didn't get more chance to do so as I must have much money to spend for the traveling. I believe you can do so since you are earning more money compared to your past. Just sacrifice to save up more to achieve your dream. China is well developing now and I believe China citizen will grow more richer in a soon time.

i've never been in a place i abroad and dreaming it is my call, it takes two to tango to get there, you must be practiced at all the times and you have to adjust faster than you could, working very hard is my achievement going abroad is not a joke so i practiced myself a lot more here in my country, i focused on my studies so when i will go abroad i'll surely be accepted and be given a visa of course i had to have a 2 years of work in my field.
