Revising the abortion laws

Here in UK there is a bill going through parliament to revise the abortion bill. Of course various people speak about it on radio but these never do we hear the voice of the ordinary person. Our media seems to represent the views of a minority in London, people deprived of a culture. If a nation is a people united by a common culture these are not English people but the flotsam and jetsam of a disintegrating part of a nation. all the best urban

Our media in the U.S. is so agenda driven we can't even know what's true or not true anymore.. You didn't say how they are revising the abortion bill.. (I'm always interested in abortion laws:)

Well the bill was multifaceted, one part was to bring Northen Ireland into line with the rest of UK. Another part sought to reduce the qualifying conditions from two to one doctor all the best urban

Hi UrbandeKay, you are so right! We, the common, really don't have a say in anything if you really take a close look...and it is very frustrating. But tell me please, what is the current law on abortion in the UK? And, why do you use the words, flotsam and jetsam...meaning the discarded...but of a disintegrating part of a nation...why exactly is it a disintegrating part of a nation? Thanks for the post, interesting, very interesting. ~G~

Not so much discarded but cast adrift, living separately outside the culture of the country. If a nation is a people united by a common culture then those outside that commonality are disintegrating from the whole. Dis-integrating- unintegrated, separate all the best urban

The weak people have no right until the strong people accepts to give them. The ordinary people have no say whatsoever unless they come together united and talk as one voice.
