i have read this article from a book so i wanted to share this to you guys.. it's very touching.here it goes... a lecturer who began a seminar bu holding a twenty-dollar bill and asking: " who would like this $20 bill?" several hands went up, but the lecturer said: "before i give it to you, i have to do something." he screwed it up into a ball and said: "who still wants this bill?" The hands went up again. "and what if i do this to it?" he threw the crumpled bill at the wall, dropped it on the floor, insulted it, trampled on it, and once more showed them the bill- now all creased and dirty. he repeated the question, and the hands stayed up. "never forget this scene," he said. it doesn't matter what i do to this money. it is still a $20 bill. so often in our lives, we are trampled, crumpled, ill-treated, insulted, and yet, despite all that, we are still worth the same. i decide to post this because in case some my lotters will read this who felt really down lately or those experiencing something really deep and bad, i hope this will be a guide for your realization. that no matter what others will say about you, and how unfair they've treated you, you are still the same person before all of this happened.

hi despompa, yes it is really true. If we will see the value of our self inspite of being crumpled and ill-treated and all that negative views, we are still worth loving for. And I guess during those times of having bad fate and all that, we need someone to hold us and keep us from holding on.So we can still appreciate the beauty of life and the wonders of love...And this is the best time we can show to our love ones that we really do care and love them, inspite of everything..

Thank you so much...that's the nicest thing I've read in a while. I copied it to save, so that I can refer back to it on 'blue' days.

Wonderfull speech! Be yourself no matter what some one else says. Like I heard from a movie a few days ago: keep the faith, don't faint.
