they promise to photoshop it or have it touched up it with other software editor? or would you be offended and refuse the offer? i was reading one of my husband's FHM magazine and i was thinking of the same thing. having given birth to a child, i am not so confident about my figure anymore, but if by a miracle someone from the magazine asked me to pose for them, i probably would agree. i would even insist that they photoshop it! in fact, i would not agree to pose for them if they wouldn't! . crazy thoughts, i know. so how would you react to such a proposal? would you agree to pose sexy for that magazine? or would you say thanks, but no thanks?

Same here! Who do you know poses these days without some kind of editing of their photo (or figure perhaps?) People would be looking for flaws in these photos, most especially the critics of our time, that's why management sees to it that the photos or images would be sleek and close to perfection! There was one photoshoot which really made everyone of my friends laugh. It was about an actress who posted with FHM and surprisingly, the raw photos were circulated. Oh my gosh, the horror, if I were the girl, I would have shrunk to nothing. She looked absolutely fat and deformed. She had bulges at the wrong places and her boob were like going to separate paths. Anyhow, it was shocking to see how technology would change all that, the pictures in the magazine were absolutely flawless. The major flaw there is was the fact that everyone knew it was edited around 90% hehehe.. Similarly, a friend of mine was working for a dermatology or beauty clinic which features actors and actresses for their product. She was able to see the raw films and told us that those were a lot different from the ones released. The actors and actresses looked horrible with their eyebags and pimples all over, but because of technology, the posters were flawless and you'd really think that they used the product and the product gave them that great look ~ look again, it's photoshop. hahaha.. So, if I were to answer your question. I would, provided they'd promise to EDIT it, and before they print, I need to see it first!

of course! i would definitely ask to see it first, too! you never know what they might have done to your figure. maybe instead of looking yummy you'd look ewww after the touch up! so yeah, quality control check first. and i think i know who that fhm girl was. A.P.? hehehe. it's horrible to know that those dermatology/beauty clinic touches up their models' posters! that's cheating consumers!

well, make sure you have an agreement of some sort. written. no airbrushing without your knowing. you'll never know where the pictures will end up being in. it's pretty dangerous when things exists as digital copies and you can keep (and alter) them without the owner knowing

ciara (if i'm not mistaken) got her picture airbrushed and they did the 'undie disappear' magic trick. not an airbrush i would want to apply on my pix :P you can get some kids with lots of free time who needs money to airbrush photos for you ;) new meaning for FHM = fotoshop hobbyist (male) *sorry, i wish i could use ph- instead of F

No thanks. My parents and family would kills me! I can only be in magazines if it's for a decent endorsement or if I was caught at a party or launching of something.. I'd rather get photoshopped though. I admit that I don't have a perfect body, so I won't be insulted at all if the magazine staff offered to do trim away like 30 lbs off my current frame. :)

Oh no I would not, and though I now have three kids and a lot of fats I am very confident with my body, oh well, I just have to accept that no matter what I do I can't have the thin like model body, after all I am a 38B And as if someone would propose something like that to me

you never know. maybe the opportunity to pose sexy is just lurking around the corner. paul has this FHM issue, where the neighbor of a sexy mom asked the mom asked if she could be featured in a magazine, and she said yes, and they were featured in one of the inside pages. see? you never know

i'm sure that happens all the time. i watch tyra banks show so she reveals that most of the pictures are edited or have touched up with another software. that's really not cool. why put them in a magazine when everyone is looking at a fake body???

Wow...tough question. I am not at all confidant about my body. And, I don't know how I would feel about possibly being recognized in public and having people looking at me with thoughts of my naked body going through their minds. It's one thing for them to imagine me naked but, another thing for them to actually know what I look like without clothes on. LOL! I would feel like everyone was looking knowingly at me like that. That would make me feel really self-conscious. I don't totally like to blend in when I am out in public but, being noticed in that way would feel way too personal to me. As for whether I would be offended by them asking with the caviat that they touch my photos up and make my flaws disappear...to have someone give creedance to my own insecurities would probably offend me a little bit only because I am happy believing no one else notices my flaws.

Hello, Kayedanda! If I will be given the chance to pose for a magazine, I would definitely agree and just do it. Anyway, they probably asked me because I deserve it. And after the pictorial, if they needed to edit or 'touch' it, that would be fine with me. However, I will make sure that before they publish it, I will ask them to show it to me first. I just wanted to see if it is done in good taste. To sum it up, I will be flattered to be chosed for that pictorial. Regards, Kayedanda! Happy myLotting!

If I have the body and the amount is right and the poses would be within my values, then I might pose for FHM. I mean, if only I can earn as long as I feel like I would not be violated then I would defintely do it.

hi. No I wont. Because I believe that my body is sacred. As the Bible said, your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not you own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body." I don't want any eye to feast on my body and be a reason for others to sin. I don't want their guilt to be on my head. happy myLotting.
