How white is white lie?

Well white lies are supposed to be those lies which are said to help somebody or save somebody.. Do you believe white lies are really harmless...For me they are an essential part of my college life!! We lie almost everyday to save our friends from the professor's anger and they do the same when we are in trouble..What about you? Do you often lie harmlessly..Do you feel guilty when you lie to help someone...

Looks like arthi madam is teaching everybody about white lies. She does it so it is correct. As usual, giving the exceptions when wrong. Art-hi madam you are always right. Seems like nobody is agreeing with you.And you keep arguing with them. As expected. You are right madam. You are always right madam. I totally agree with you. All the my lotterswho are thinking of responding to this madams discussion please agree with her.Othewise she will argue with you till you agree with her. Arthi madam you are right. White lies are surely white.

Hey hey.......Cool. Somebody just replied in my discussions that art-hi is a cool tempered girl. Them what happened. Discussing about white lies and speaking all the black lies. And somebody even said that you dont pretend something. What happened baby. Your words are speaking something and you are behaving something. Looks like somewhere something is burning. I think somebody is having a lot of fire inside against me.

Well here you go again trying to make me angry! I didn't disagree that lies are harmful...And you lied too when you said I am always right!!Now that's a white lie!!Have a nice day!

Is any lie really harmless? Does it really help your friend in the long run? Sometimes we tell these so called "white lies" to help a friend, but in the long run they have to face up to the reality at some point in their life. White lies turn into something that you just have to keep propping up with some more lies and pretty soon the lies become a way of life that's hard to escape from. Be careful with the white lies. They catch up with you just like any lie.

I agree that any lie is lie but if we dont lie the truth of his status will be laughed upon which wont make class any more comfortable for him...we do feel guilty but its ok if it saves our friend from being hurt..and for us such lies are welcome...but we do try to avoid them..thank you and have a nice day!

Ofcourse NO. I usually don't lie,but I hide truths But if it's going to do some good,i'll never have a second thought over it,would gladly lie. White lies are as white as pure white hearts Cheers

Yeah we try to hide the truth when its possible...But sometimes white lies can help us out of real big problems..Have a nice day!

I think a lie is just a lie no matter how dark or light the lie is, it is a lie and you are telling lies.and in most cases you can get out of trouble by lying and you can also get in sorts of trouble for lying, but lie is just a lie

i understand your point of view...But a lie is not white when it gets you into trouble..whitelie is sort of harmless manipulatin of truth or hiding it or sometimes simply lie...We obviously dont enjoy telling lies but its necessray when somebody is going to harm my friend..Have a nice day!
